On the same lines as the diggers, JCB have launched the JCB TOUGH PHONE – a tough, no-nonsense phone, for tough, no-nonsense people. The handset’s solid casing gives an impression of its robustness and anyone can make out that the JCB TOUGH PHONE is designed to withstand the wear and tear of outdoor life.
The JCB TOUGH PHONE is a simple candy bar mobile phone available in three choices of colours – black, orange and dark green. The handset sports a very compact dimension that easily slides into any pocket and feels solid at just a shade above 100 grams. The JCB TOUGH PHONE is fitted with a CSTN based, 65k coloured display. This 27×27 mm screen boasts of adjustable display brightness for an optimum viewing experience in all types of lighting condition.
This sports centric mobile phone features many applications designed for active people. The handset features Push to Talk technology wherein one can use the JCB TOUGH PHONE as a walkie talkie. The handset has the ability to send and receive flash messages apart from regular texts. Moreover, if you’re too busy to write messages, you can record what you have to say and send it as a voice message.
Although, it doesn’t have a camera, the JCB TOUGH PHONE doesn’t NEED one. It’s designed to be tough, to be rock solid, to be a tool, rather than a plaything. And in that, this JCB phone, a monolithic masterpiece, succeeds hands down!
